BEYOND YOGA Leggings. $99

While I have tried numerous popular brands, I keep returning to Beyond Yoga's High Waisted Leggings because they are

-so soft and stretchy. They hold up to frequent washing.

-supportive with a higher waist than other brands. I am recovering from diastasis recti (ab separation from twins), and these leggings provide me with the support that I need.

-midi length - great for petite people. I am 5'3". Also comes in full length, capri, and pedal pusher.

-squat proof.

-lots of pretty, seasonal colors to choose from.

-choose from styles with or without pockets.

Gaiam Yoga Blocks -$12.99

If you have taken my in person or online class before, you know that I am obsessed with yoga blocks. They bring the floor closer and can be used for all types of classes including Yin, Vinyasa, Gentle, and Fitness. While one or two stacks of books can be a handy substitute, nothing compares to having your own set of blocks. Do I need them in order to practice yoga? No. Do I want them, love them, use them in all my classes? Absolutely.

This mat has been essential for teaching heated Vinyasa in the studio and for my personal home practice. I suffer from extremely sweaty hands and feet, but I don't slip when using this mat. Brooks Momentum Thermal Leggings - $98

These are the pants that I am wearing in the photo. Pricey, but very warm. I appreciate the high waist, drawstring, smooth material, side pocket, and warm but not-too-thick lining. I was fortunate to score these at a discount during an end of season sale at a running store.

CRZ YOGA Thermal Fleece Lined Leggings - $32

Less expensive than the Brooks leggings and just as warm. These are thicker than the Brooks, with a shiny outside material, high waist and side pocket.

Le Bonne Shoppe Boyfriend Socks - $14

This may not be for everyone, but I like to teach yoga while wearing socks especially if we are in a non-heated room or outdoors. If it's hot or in a heated studio, I do go sockless. Le Bonne Shoppe Boyfriend socks are my go-to yoga socks because they are extremely comfortable, have good grip, not too thick, reach higher than my ankle, and have a cute stripe.
